King Neptune
We went down to the Virgina Beach beach today to see the larger than life statue of King Neptune. It was a neat site and the kids had fun playing on the beach, it was a bit chilly and windy, so not swimming weather.
For those of us who need a Greek refresher, King Neptune (or Poseidon) is known as the King of the Sea and is known for his 3 pronged trident. Bea thought he looked like King Triton, Ariel's dad from the Little Mermaid.

Laurie, Mr. B, Bubba, Boo and Bea ! It was such a pleasure to visit with you - although the time was short and the weather not so sunny. Gidget misses you, too. She ran into the bedroom to give out morning kisses but the room was empty! Bummer! Joel sends his best wishes and we all look forward to your next visit.
Aunt S.
