Custom Clothing For Disney Sea
This past trip to Disney Sea when I was doing my internet research I found lots of ladies on boards I go to talking about ordering custom made clothing for their kids for their Disney trips. I was intrigued and had to check it out.
So 4 wks before our trip I get 'bit' by the Custom clothing bug and decide I need to get an dress for Bea and since we are headed to Disney Sea I figured an Ariel dress was only appropriate. I did some major searching online and I was having a hard time finding a dress or a seller with an Ariel dress that I liked or would actually dress Bea in....for those who know me know I have some major issues with clothing, LOL!
In desperation I tried a new to me site called
Etsy.com and to my surprise I found a super cute dress at a super cool price! I was now in a hurry to get it ordered and shipped so it could make it to Japan in time for the trip. The seller was awesome and made the dress right away and shipped it out to me, I got it in plenty of time.

My next task was to find a matching Ariel hair bow...see how the issues start to play out... And that was a HUGE task in itself. Most of the bows I found didn't match the colors of her dress. I finally found a military spouse who has an online store that could quickly make an Ariel bow to match the dress and even sent some extra free bows!

So with her dress and bow here I began to think about what the boys would wear...I was not going to order a custom shirt for them that just didn't seem like the answer. Then I happened upon Gap.com where I found polo shirts that were bright colors so we'd be able to keep an eye on them at Disney Sea and that matched Bea's dress. I was so excited!
The kids all decked out, they were facing the sun so they were squinting
Who knew custom clothing could be so much fun! She got lots of comments on her dress from the Japanese at Disney Sea. And yes I do plan on doing it again for any future Disney trips!

That's really neat. I shopped at etsy too since I love vintage digs and they did an awesome job with her dress. Too cool Bea and the boys were styling as well. They truly are an extension of you =)
