Random Act of Kindness
When was the last time you did a Random Act of Kindness? Unfortantly I can't remember my last RAOK either...guess that means I'm well overdue. I'll start working on it.
I wanted to share a great story of a Random Act of Kindness that happened to us while stationed in Iceland.
We were at dinner at a favorite local Keflavik restaurant, Kaffi Duus, with our friends and our familes (there were 10 of us). There were lots of Americans in town because they were there shooting Clint Eastwood's film Flags of Our Father. We were finishing up our delicious dinner and asked for our check, the waitress informed us that a man, who wanted to remain anonymous, had paid $50 on each of our bills! He asked the waitress if we were military families (the haircuts probably gave the guys away) and when she said yes, he made that awesome gesture. We have no idea who the man was but were touched beyond belief that someone would do something so kind for our families!
It's amazing how a Random Act of Kindness can leave a huge impression on your life!
