Spelling Woes
Don't you just love when kids are learning to spell, it can make for some of the funniest stories!
So Bea brought home Hopper today from class, you know the cute green frog from the last picture...and they have to write a story about what they do with Hopper. So here is her story:
Notice the spelling...It says 'Hopper and I want to get Damn at school." Then it shows us calling out for him to come to the car...
Boo and I were laughing so hard!! And FYI it's supposed to say Damon, not Damn! So Boo yells upstairs to her "Bea how do you spell my name." And replies confidently "D, A, M, N!" Bubby walks out of the bathroom and asks "Why is Bea spelling a bad word?" LOL!! So now Bea knows the proper spelling and I have 'fixed' the spelling before she shares it with the class tomorrow! Hope ya'll got a chuckle out of this too!
