Sweet Slumber Deal
I've been wanting to get a new comforter/sheet set for awhile, and Mr. B insisted it was necessary to reduce the heating/cooling bill. He was sure that the need to keep the house at 66 degrees at night was due to the super comfy comforter we had. He decided it was too 'warm.'
So yesterday when I was in JcPenney's I ran across a deal I couldn't pass up! It was for a quilt & sheet set I've been eyeing but didn't want to pay the $$ for. See I love good quality comforter & sheets, just not the price tag that comes with them, LOL! So yesterday I was happily surprised to see that the Quilt/comforter that cost $160 was now $24.97! The 450 ct matching sheet set that cost $130 was now $29.97, I had to finally break down and by them...and what a steal! I also got 2 decorative pillows for $9.97, originally $50 each...I mean who pays $50 for a pillow?! So all in all I paid $74.88 for the set which would have cost me $390, Yipee!!
Tried it out last night at 68 degrees and I was not burning up, we'll see if I can stand it at 70 degrees tonight :)
