Basketball Season 2009-2010
Today was the unofficial start of Boo's 2009-2010 basketball season. He is playing on the JV team for his school, he is one of the four 8th graders on the team. While he has been practicing since early October this was his first event. He participated in a Free Throw challenge to raise money to purchase team uniforms. He successfully made 43 out of 100 free throws.
Then the 7th & 8th grade boys played a scrimmage game against the Varsity girls. It was an exciting game to watch! Boo did great and it was great to get a look at the 8th grade players on the boys JV team. It was a close game that ended with the Varsity girls winning 40-39. We are so proud of you Boo!
Next week will be the official start of the season with the first game! I enjoy watching the basketball games...probably because basketball was my sport in school :)
