Grin & 'Bear' It

So at Bass Pro it's got all these crazy animals around and I had taken my camera since we were visiting Santa's Wonderland...I had the kids take some pictures with this HUGE bear. I've been wanting to it for awhile (ok, ok, so it's been a year!) and decided that there was no time like the present.

So the kids get in the picture, I give no guidance how they should pose and it ends up like this, hilarious! I love that Bea just happends to be emphasizing Boo & Bubby in the grips of the bear. Then an older lady asks me if I'd like her to take a picture of all of us...I figure sure, why not?
So I give her the camera and get in the picture. She has a few questions on how to take the picture, I explain and we get ready. She snaps the photo and I walk back to her to examine it. I pop it up on the screen and have me a look. She immediately exclaims what a great picture it is, and asks if I think it's good. I reply yes, and think to myself it sure is hard to ruin a pic with the Rebel Xti, I mean it's so easy a chimp can do it. I didn't have the heart to tell her that while yes, she did a good job getting us in the picture, she managed to decapitate the bear! Had you not seen the previous picture you wouldn't even know we were standing with a bear, it could be anything...including Big Foot! Hey, look everyone...we're standing with something brown and fuzzy, nothing like a hairy ole backdrop, LOL!!
After retrieving my camera from the 'good samaritan' I tell the kids to take one final picture, this time telling them to act scared...as you can see Bea is the only one who followed the initiative, using her acting skills of course. If that is scared for Boo, I'd hate to see happy, LOL! Bubby looks like he's real scared huh, too bad I couldn't made the bear move, that would've invoked some true terror ;)
