Winter Weather
Brrrrr....it's been cold here. Yesterday was 39 with a freezing cold rain that made you shiver to walk in it outside. Yet, cold here is relative...as I still have not found anywhere colder than Iceland...LOL! While I'm thankfully that it's only minimally cold, I'll be glad when it warms back up. I have been enjoying winter here in AL after years of extreme winters in Iceland and Japan.
So what do we do when it's cold? We whip out our favorite appliance...the hot chocolate maker and keep it running. The kids love the endless cups of cocoa and I love that it makes them so happy :)
Yesterday we decided to brave the cold and head to A Christmas Carol at the theater on base, normally the movie theaters are cold so I thought it might be chilly, but thankfully the heater was going an it was nice an cozy. We haven't been to the movies in awhile so this was a nice treat for the family.
There was one 'scary' part at the beginning that had me laughing so hard I almost started crying...it caught all the little kids off guard and it was so stinking funny! Oh, the little things in life, LOL!
Today's looking a bit warmer but I have a feeling the hot chocolate machine will be running once again after we get home from church!

Hopefully your body has not forgot your Idaho heritage. We got 4 inches of snow Friday and more snow every day.Last week our high temp was 10 and the low was -5. I was thinking it sure would be nice to have Mr. B here to shovel the driveway.

Ha Ha, nope haven't forgot and am enjoying not being in ID for winter! The best part about AL is NO SNOW for winter...yipee!! I'm sure Mr. B would love to shovel the driveway...LOL!!
