Jumping Jupiter....
...that's the biggest grasshopper I've ever seen!
While we were on vacation a few months back in FL, we found this little critter out back on our patio. Notice that there is a full-size man's hand (Mr. B's ) beside it! The kids were quite fascinated by the size of this monstrosity and I just wanted as far away from it as possible, I know my friend Hazel would've passed out, LOL!!
Seriously I didn't even realize grasshoppers could get that big, wonder if he was on steroids, LOL!!
By a cup, the type you get in restaurants...still hard to gauge size from this...
So we had Mr. B throw his hand down next to it so I could snap a picture
