Breakfast With Santa
Yesterday we had the opportunity to go eat Breakfast With Santa, Bubby & Bea were really looking forward to it, Boo tagged along because he had to ;) LOL! Bubby had asked about going but I had told him I wasn't sure as yesterday was going to be a super busy day, BUT we got a call and were offered to go for FREE and 30 mins before it officially opened to the general mass of people, so I decided to take them.
We ate pancakes and sausages, and the kids had juice to drink. I was able to take the kids picture with Santa...although I did have to make Boo get in the picture...he was so humoring me, LOL. The younger kids chatted with Santa for a few and then were given some toys by an Elf, and then they got to choose a toy off the table. Plus a volunteer came around handing out new dvds to all the kids, so we got 3 new DVDs.
We then headed to the arts & crafts tables where the kids decorated a bag, made a snowman ornament, decorated cookies, made another ornament, and a snowman paddle ball. Bubby & Bea had a fun time with the crafts while Boo walked around with me.
After an hour we had to leave and hurry to get to Bea's first Cheer practice and drop Boo off to get ready for a Basketball tournament. After Bea's cheer we went to Boo's game and then he had a second game later that day. Thankfully the kids were able to go to a friend of mine, which we were going over to hang out with for food while the guys watched 'THE' football game. The basketball games went great and Boo's team took 1st place in the tournament!
We left the house at 7:30 am and were back home by 8:30 pm, exhausted and ready for bed!

Bubby & Boo decorating their cookies, one of the volunteers thought it was hilarious to encourage Bubby to put humongous amounts of frosting on his cookie...I asked if Bubby was going to be staying with him for the afternoon, as this was at 8:30 AM!

Bubby almost finished but had to add a few finishing touches....yuck...way too much frosting!
