Wild Weekend
This weekend felt like it was non-stop! Saturday was spent running what felt like a million errands! I picked up fabric to reupholster the dining room chairs since we are doing a small group here this year...and they need redone in a bad way! I hope to get them worked on this week, but it's a busy week ahead as well with Mr. B's birthday and Boo's first football game of the season, with many other things sprinkled along the way!Sunday after church we went to a Welcome Home picnic in the local community, it was hot but the kids had fun. Abrakadoodle was there and Bea got her face painted like a tiger, it was too cute! The many faces of Bea:
They had an inflatable bouncy obstacle course which Bubby & Boo had a fun time racing it, but apparently Boo had a bit too much fun because by the time we were getting ready to leave his broken arm was aching, and he woke up with it hurting this morning.

On an interesting note we've learned some things about have one's dominant arm stuck in a bent position. You forget how handy it is to be able to bend your arm....until you can no longer do it! He cannot get a fork/spoon to his mouth with that hand, he can't touch his head or itch his nose, he can't drink with that arm as it won't get near his mouth, and he can't even put deodorant on under his left arm! He did manage to figure out how to take out and put in his contacts with one hand...and his left hand at that! By the time this is over he should be quite ambidextrous!
And it appears that Bubby & Bea were acting like photographers as I found these on the camera this morning....funny to see their point of view

And the maintenance man arrived to start on the bathroom today...he hopes to be done by Wednesday, I'll take some photos after he leaves this afternoon.
