Japan Fish Market
We like going to the fish market. Despite the overbearing fishy smell we can get fruit, like apples, strawberries and bananas, for cheap. Watermelons & cantaloupe are way to expensive up to $30 each! When family was here visiting my dad found they sold fried chicken gizzards and he was in heaven! I have heard it's way better than any fish market in the States, I wouldn't know for sure because I haven't been to any other fish market. It is a interesting experience for the whole family!
Fresh Crab....still alive on ice
Shark head!
Hanging dried fish
Large Octopus, still alive!
$25 for a Watermelon!

And I have not had one chicken gizzard since we returned. Would you be able to bring back a 50 pound box of those gizzards, when you return to the states................Love Dad
I love the fish market. That's where we usually go when we BBQ oysters. Although I have to admit, I've never tried fried gizzard. I think they had that in Florida where we used to live but I have to try it out while we're here. Is there a special way you prepare it?
Actually the gizzard is cooked and ready to eat, so you just buy it and enjoy! :) The kids all liked it too.
