Moving Mayhem - Clearing the Clutter

Wow, you forget how much 'fun' moving is until 3 years have passed by and it's time to do it again!  We've spent the last 2 days clearing out the clutter and selling items that are not going with us.  We've been using the Virtual Yard Sale board here in Misawa, it's a yahoo group, and it's been very successful.  I've been fielding numerous calls and emails since our first post yesterday.  We've been selling large times we wont' be talking like the outdoor toys and the snow blower...I can guarantee we won't need a snow blower in AL!  Last time we lived there for 4 years it snowed once for 1 day, LOL!  I've also unloaded all the snow clothing like snow pants, coats, boots, ect.  Even if we do move somewhere with a winter season after AL none of those will still fit the kids.  I can hardly believe we'll be packing out in almost 6 weeks!  The hardest part is deciding what we need to keep (clothing, ect) until we leave in Oct and that will get us through until we get to AL in the middle of Oct.  I guess the part I find most ironic is that we left AL when Bea was 4 months old and we'll be returning literally 5 years later when she is 5 years and 4 months old...who would've guessed!?

Looking forward to you being back :)

It's only snowed once since you've been gone...and that was this year so it might not snow at all while you're here! Selling the snow blower is a good move :)

It has snowed at our house a few times in the last 2 1/2 years that we've lived here, we live in Clay though & usually my ILs who live less than 5 minutes from us don't get the snow we get, WEIRD huh?! That virtual garage sale sounds awesome. I despise packing things up, hopefully you enjoy it more than I do!

I think you should definitely take the snow blower with you to Alabama. What will Mr. B do with all his spare time? He could push the snow blower around all day, even without any snow.
