Happy New Year! Hello 2010!
Happy New Year to All! I can hardly believe 2009 has slipped away and we are now in 2010, I look forward to seeing what's in store this year...hopefully less time in Dr's offices or ER's ;) LOL!
New Year's Day was spent here at home relaxing after a late night hanging out with friends. We got home by 12:30 am and I didn't get to bed until after 1 am. Thankfully we all slept in, I think I saw the first kid wandering around at 8:30 am but they watched TV quietly and I was able to sleep until 9:30, yipee!
We also took the time to play one of our favorite games, Yatzee, and decided to try and take pictures of the dice in motion while we were at it. It's fun with the kids having cameras now too!
The only downfall was that for dinner I was making a trusty old favorite, frozen pizza, and playing Picturika on the Wii with Bubby. When the pizza buzzed that it was ready we were in the middle of a tournament and I trying to hurry made a fatal error...while getting the pizza out of the oven I dropped it upside down on the door/bottom of the oven. Needless to say all the cheese came off EVERYWHERE and it was unsalvagable. So I resorted to trusty old back-up number 2, and made grilled cheese. It was great fun trying to clean up the mess as well, the bottom still needs some work now that the oven is cool. Nothing like bringing in the new year with a bang ;)
