Tokyo Tower

The Tokyo Tower is one of the must visit sites while touring Tokyo.  We've been able to visit it twice, once at night and once during the day.  I prefer the night version, while it does make taking pictures a bit more trickier, it provides a much more amazing view of the city when it's all lighted up.  It's approximately 1092 feet high and apparently taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris.  The Tokyo Tower has a mascot and truthfully I find him/it to be a bit baffling.  I mean really what do you see when you look at the mascot?  It/they are supposed to be the Noppon brothers, who are male twins...ok sure so they look like a male something, but really!?  Who came up with this concept!?  I have a feeling this mascot would've never survived in America.  For more info on the Tokyo Tower and the mascot check out the linked site :)  Pictures are both night and day so you can see which you like best.
Us in the tower at the 150m observatory.  This picture cracks me up because it's so truthful of how kids are...here we are trying to show Poppie & Omah around Tokyo and get some pics for memories and there is Bubby being Bubby, and Bea out of character not being her photogenic self, LOL!
Boo with the Tokyo Tower mascot....what does it look like to you?
