Welcome to February

Well February has arrived with a bang! It's time for beginnings and ends! LOTS has been going on here, hence the lack of blogging.

I've been sick with a cold for 4 wks now, it escalated to the point of bruising my ribs, which has made breathing 'oh so fun' for the past week. It also resulted in a crazy Dr. appt, where the Dr. tried to diagnose me with an autoimmune disease, I was caught off guard as I went in for the cold and a mysterious rash. Thankfully I am wholeheartedly praising God today as the blood work results came back today CLEAR! Next step is seeing the dermatologist to figure out what the rash is, should happen in the next few weeks.

Boo has finished basketball for the season, his team did awesome with 22 wins and only 2 losses! They came in 3rd for State as well. Boo is working hard on fine tuning his skills to be ready for next season.

The move to the 'new to us' house is this month as well, literally 9 days away! Things are falling into place and friends have stepped up to help as I had several slow days with my ribs slowing me down. We made lots of progress today and I feel much more prepared for the actual move.

The overseas list came out yesterday and we've updated our dream sheet as such:
Kadena (Okinawa, Japan)
Guam
Azores (Portugal)
North Bay, Canada (Ontario)
and long shot Ramstien (Germany) although our dates do NOT match for this assignment so we know we won't get looked at for it, we put it on there just to make sure ;)
We're hoping to find out by the end of the month if we get one of these assignments, if not we'll look at the list again in June.
Kinda crazy to think about moving AGAIN when I have to move in 9 days! LOL!

Bubby has reached a major milestone with his allergy shots and we are FINALLY able to go once every 2 weeks! We started in May with 2 times a week for several weeks, then have been going weekly since then. Last time when we were at the point of being to come every 2 wks he had the bad reaction and we had to lower the dosage and start all over again, thankfully this time all went well and we're going to enjoy the less frequent trips to the office! We've been going for 43 weeks (Yes, I'm a nut and counted on the calendar!) which equals 86 shots over the past 9 months.

That pretty much sums it up, the past several days, although somehow I'm sure I've missed several things but my brain is on overload and this is a good as it gets for now ;)

Good to hear nothing is wrong with you, besides bad ribs, bad cold, bad throat, bad knee, bad back, bad rash. I can now safely say Idaho is no longer the only state with quack doctors. I am also surprised Mountain Home did not make number one on your list, people here say that is a overseas assignment.
