Mr. Jack-O-Lantern

I'm sure the burning question is: Did we carve pumpkins this year? And rightly so with our incident from last year...if you don't know about last year's incident you can read about it here

So to answer the question...no...and yes, let me explain. To this day thinking about carving pumpkins and steak knives gives me the heebie jeebies! So while I was not a fan of carving a pumpkin this year Mr. B was a bit more lax about it...probably because he wanted to toast the seeds ;) So Mr. B did indeed use a knife to cut off the top of the pumpkin while I sat in the other room cringing. Then he let Bubby & Bea plan and carve a face...with a Tupperware SAFETY KNIFE...which is the only way they will EVER get to carve for the rest of their lives...or as long as they live with us, LOL! And we did this while Boo was not home, maybe next year he'll be allowed to use a safety knife ;)

Safety knife, and yes I realize that even this is going out on a limb for us, I'm still working on the design of a bubble wrap suit for certain family members ;)

Here is the final result, planned by Bubby & Bea, carved by Bubby & decorated by Bea

Mr. Jack-O-Lantern 2009

And speaking of Jack-o-lanterns we have one living in our home as well, Bea lost her 2nd tooth!
