Fukuchi Water Park



We went to Fukuchi water park in Hachinohe today, it's about 45 mins to 1 hour from Misawa.  Much closer than Kenji world (3 hours) and cheaper too.  It was only 1000 Yen for adults ($10) and 500 yen ($5) for the kids.  The restaurant there was okay, it had some weird (Japanese) food choices but the kids were happy with white rice and french fries, plus for 300 yen you could get an all you could drink cup.  It was around 2300 yen for our lunch for 5 people.  The park was great with several different pools to swim in, including a lazy river outside and a jacuzzi river outside.  The kids had a blast.  They have a neat slide too but you have to pay 50 yen (50 cents) each time to go down, so I'm sure they make tons of money off that.  Sorry no photos to add, there is no photography or video cameras allowed in the pool area.  On the way back home we stopped by the Fish Market and bought some fruit, ice cream and fried chicken gizzards, don't worry Dad I ate a few extra for you ;)
