50th Misawa Summer Festival 2008
We headed right out the gate last night to watch the 50th Misawa Summer festival floats parade, sadly it is our last one as we are moving soon. I got to practice my taking pictures in the dark skills and was happy with the results. We ate our favorites: Yakatori (chicken on a stick), crepes, french fries, and bananas on a stick covered with chocolate & sprinkles.
Boo got to meet up with some of the other previous 6th graders from his school. They walked back to the house of one boy who lives off base for a cook-out and then headed back down to walk around the festival. I'm going to miss him being able to do these things with his friends, I'd never let him walk around a festival by himself in the States! Give it a few minutes to fully load pictures.
