April Fooling Fun
You know what they say....better late than Never! LOL!
April Fool's Day we pulled into the driveway after school and there was a turtle by our garage door, so I told the kids. They thought I was pulling their leg and they kept yelling April Fools, finally I convinced them to get out and look and sure enough it was there. Bubby asked to put it in a box to keep until Mr. B got home so they could walk further down to release him so I let him. Mr. B gets home and Bubby pulls his leg telling him I bought a new pet, I was laughing so hard from inside. Mr. B walks into the garage and about has a heart attack, I hear him say "Your mom BOUGHT that?!" Then Bubby yells April fools! So after dinner I take Boo to his youth group and Mr. B goes out with Bubby & Bea to release the turtle. Well they set him free and Bea starts crying saying she loved the turtle! We'd only had him in the garage a couple hours! So Mr. B explained that he would still be around might show up again and she was fine.
