Crayon Canvas Art
I seen this neat project on
Pinterest the other day and just HAD to do it! I'm so loving all the ideas on that site!
The project is so simple! All you need is crayons (I used 3 boxes of 24 count minus the blacks, grays, browns, & whites), a canvas, hot glue gun, & a hair dryer!
I lined up all my crayons how I wanted them and set them at the top of my canvas |
I then started adding them all the way across in the rainbow colors ROY G BIV :) |
Bea even decided to get in on the project |
Crayons all glued and ready to melt |
Bea ready for some melting action |

My protected chair |
Starting the melting, which happens fairly quickly |
Bubby even took a turn |
Crayons starting to melt, I was surprised to find that not only do the crayons melt from the tips but they also melt and come up out the bottoms too making the bottoms deform, and if you hit just the right angle it will send a spray of liquid crayon! |
Bea decided to grab the camera while I worked on finishing the project and I have to say I enjoyed her perspective, I love this pic |

And then she wanders off to take a picture of the dog..... |

Final project! |
