Fall Is In the Air

It has happened, fall has finally arrived here in AL! There is a crisp chill in the air and the scent of burning leaves is wafting through the air. I think this is my favorite season, this and spring. I love the colors of fall. I love wearing flip flops until my toes are frozen and I have to transition to shoes! It's a reminder of transition and change, what once was is now something new. This fall is a reminder that we're coming close to our 1 year mark here, and what a year it has been! For better and worse we have seen many changes and are praising God everyday for His grace and blessings upon our family. As I sit typing this my clothes still smell of the fall burning leaves scent, reminding me how thankful I am for fall.

Animal Kingdom

We loved Animal Kingdom, for us it was a toss up between Animal Kingdom and Epcot for our favorite. We loved the Everest roller coaster, so much that we went on it 7 times! It was great because Bea was able to ride all the rides except one and that one wasn't very good according to Mr. B & the boys. She loved the roller coaster! The petting zoo was also a hit with the younger two.

Build A Bear With Mr. B

Last month we took the kids (Bubby & Bea, Boo would be horrified if we said he made a 'bear') to Build-A-Bear. Mr. B helped them to choose, stuff, and dress their chosen 'bears.' It was great fun...and yes this is post is a long time coming ;) Here are some pics to enjoy:

This picture is hilarious! Boo wanted to go get a shake instead of hanging out in Build-A-Bear. Since the food court is right next to the store we let him. The hilarious part was that he was walking around like this for 10 minutes before I noticed and took the pic!!

Boo wishing he could get the heck out of Build-A-Bear before anyone sees him, LOL!

Registering their stuffed friends, Mr. B helps Bea while Boo helps Bubby.
Then we headed off to Olive Garden for dinner, the kids were excited as they LOVE to eat there!

Disney Transportation

During our stay at Shades of Green we used many forms of transportation from our feet to golf carts, to monorails, to buses, to our car! Here are some pics from a few:

Disney Monorail at the TTC center...we walked here from Shades of Green...took about 15 mins
The boys on the monorail...no fancy hand holds like in Tokyo
Mr. B and Bea riding the monorail
Our Shades of Green buses, these were great for getting around! Espeically since they were directly to the stop and back, no extra stops involved!
The boys riding the bus...Bubby in one of his non-photogenic moods, LOL!

10 Year Anniversary

Today I celebrate 10 wonderful years with my Amazing Husband! I am always continually praising God for sending me such a great husband and I look forward to seeing what He has in store for us :) Thank you Mr. B for allowing me to see that the following is true:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Family Drawing

This is a picture Bea drew the other morning (Sunday). She said it's our family, she and I are in purple and the guys are in blue. The one on the roof is Mr. B and she said he is hanging Christmas lights on the house! LOL!

Today was a good day, it flew by in no time....amazing how having 2 kids in sports can make the time fly by! Working on getting into a new 'normal' routine. Tomorrow is going to be super crazy so I hope I have the energy to post at the end of the day!

Epcot

Our first day at the Disney parks was to Epcot. This was the first time we've been to Epcot and the kids were all at great ages for it so it made it fun. We didn't take the afternoon break like we should've so by 4 we were hot walking the world showcase and ready to leave. We planned on going back for fireworks later that night but it was storming so we stayed in and rested.

Mr. B got a new point and shoot Canon camera for his B-day and we decided to take that instead of carrying around the huge Rebel & lenses...I can say I was pleasantly surprised with the pictures and so glad we didn't lug the Rebel through the parks!

One of the best features about Mr. B's camera that I don't have on mine, is the ability to take video. It was great to be able to take little video clips here and there that I can upload here!
