Beautiful Bea

Feeling uninspired and unmotivated to blog I took some pics of Bea this morning so I would have something to post. I think they turned out great, she is growing up so fast!! Now I just need to get the boys to cooperate so I can get some good shots of them too ;)

Showing her pretty painted nails, she loves getting her nails painted

Waiting....

is not always easy and often seems long, so I look for the postive things to focus on throughout the day!

There were 2 today,

1) I got my Master's degree diploma in the mail!! It's now OFFICIAL that I am DONE (For real folks ;) LOL)! I will post pictures after I get a frame for it

2) The laughter provided by this Wal-Mart commerical....hilarious!!

Fish On The Floor....

Fish on the floor,
Looking like a fool with the fish on the floor!

LOL!!!

If you haven't figured it out, I have a 'fish' story to tell!

Yesterday I had to take Bubby to get his weekly allergy shot because they were going to be closed on Thurs (our normal day). So since Boo had an away game and would be gone until late we headed to get allergy shots. After allergy shots we decided to stop for an early dinner.

We went to Chappy's Deli as it's super yummy and cheap to eat there, it was $12 for me and the 2 kids! So as we're eating we watching the guy cleaning the large fish tank and playing 20 Questions.

I was working on trying to figure out Bubby's item when he looks over to the aisle and says "Oh my gosh" I heard a weird slapping sound and Bea & I look over. There is a big ole fish next to us flopping on the floor! We are stunned with shock, then it starts to flip towards our table and feet! Bea starts backing up and I lift my feet quickly off the floor! A waitress walks over and sees it and says "What in the world is this?!" LOL!!

The guy cleaning the tank sees us, then sees the fish! He jumps down and runs around to grab the fish and puts it back in the tank. The fish is stunned and while its 'breathing' it's not moving. After awhile it finally starts to swim....upside down! He was still swimming crazy when we left! We got a few pictures to share :)

Geez, we can't even go get something to eat without something wild happening, LOL! It was hilarious, I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. So on the way home the kids and I decide to use the "Pants on the Ground" song to make our own, so here it is:

Fish on the floor,
Fish on the floor,
Looking like a fool with the fish on the floor

Tank wide open, fish jumps out
Makes the people scream and shout

Fish on the floor,
Fish on the floor,
Looking like a fool with the fish on the floor

Cleaning the tank, you have no clue
Suddenly you feel everyone looking at you

Fish on the floor,
Fish on the floor,
Looking like a fool with the fish on the floor

You pick him up, drop him in
Upside down he starts to swim

Fish on the floor,
Fish on the floor,
Looking like a fool with the fish on the floor

What and exciting day we had, LOL!!

The tank, see how big & up high it is! The fish had to have flopped on table or bench before landing on the floor!

THE fish, back in tank, swimming upside down

Rainbow Colored Organization

With the upcoming move right around the corner in just a few weeks, I am determined to make this an organized process that will run smoothly. Not just for me, but for the fine folks who've stepped up to help us move from Point A to Point B :)

What does this organization entail you ask? Why it includes multi-colored Duct & Masking Tape! Oh, what a wonder they are! Also colored corresponding Bic markers, I had so much fun buying the supplies, probably more than is normal, LOL!!

So when I told Mr. B of my 'grand plan' to color code all the boxes and furniture to the matching rooms at the new house, instead of the praise of me being in the ball that I expected, I received belly shaking laughter....hummmm. I know if he was in charge it would be mass chaos of everyone grabbing something and throwing it somewhere, I am resolved to not let that be the case with me in charge. So while I know that Mr. B is glad that I'm in charge of this crazy process I'm even more determined to wow him with the color-coded wonders of duct & masking tape ;p Who says a girl can't have some fun while enduring the hassles of a move, LOL!

So for now I've included some pictures of my new favorite packing supplies and will update how the system works as I put it into action :D

Here's looking at you, Mr. B, LOL!

Rainy Car Fun

Some days when we go to pick Boo up from practice we have to wait in the car for awhile, so what do we do? We get out the camera and take silly pictures to pass the time :) Here are some recent ones:
I catch a glimpse of Bea in the backseat
We smile for the camera
We put the Dinosaur on the Dashboard
Bubby hangs out with his iTouch
Bea acts like a nut :)
The rain pours down

Checking In

We are here, still managing to get through each day, one day at a time, LOL! Had a crazy day as I got called in to Sub literally 15 minutes before walking out the door to do the 'school bus run' driving the kids to school. So it's been a wild day here and we just walked in the door for a few minutes before heading out to Boo's game. Just wanted to make a quick post and add the picture Bubby took of he & I the other day at Boo's game :)

Braces are adjusting just fine, minimal discomfort and no pain, yippee!

Move plans are moving along, got orders cut for a DITY move (Do it Myself, LOL) planning and early packing is set for next week.

Tin Grin

Yesterday was 'the' day, the day I got my official tin grin, LOL! I got my top braces on! It was super fast, literally 25 minutes to get them on and while they feel 'weird' but I have NO pain so far, and I'm 5 hours post fixture. While biting feels uncomfortable it doesn't hurt so far. I'm sticking to soft items for the next day or so. I think the hardest part is going to be eating...figuring out what I can & CANNOT eat. I go back in 4 wks to get a larger wire and I should get my bottoms put on in 4-6 months, hopefully sooner than later. Overall treatment is estimated at 21-24 months, but that is here in the capable hands of civilians, I have no idea what it will entail if we get overseas orders during that time...kinda scary!!! LOL!

Here's some pics of me and my 'tin grin' as Mr. B would say

See you can't even tell I have them when I use my 'normal' smile, LOL!

And a close up :)

Whirlwind Week

Whew, it was a whirlwind week here! Literally from the moment my mom (aka Nana) stepped off the plane we were on the run to Boo's basketball game! From basketball games to cheer leading to Wii and bowling it was busy, busy, busy and lots of fun. Here are some pictures:

Boo, artistic version, he beat us all and without contacts, I have NO idea how he pulled that one off!!

Me bowling, thanks Boo, I really did not need a picture of me bowling, LOL!!

You Spin Me Right Round...

Baby, right round, like a record, baby right round, round, round!

That pretty much sums up life right now, my head is spinning like crazy with all that is going on!

First and foremost we are MOVING, nope not overseas, well not yet at least...but we did FINALLY get a house on base! We've been on the waiting list since March 2009. While the house is not originally where I wanted, we actually got something better than we anticipated. So we'll be moving VERY soon, within the next month!

Our soon to be 'new to us' house

Secondly, there is going to be some BIG changes with me. Next Tuesday I'm getting BRACES! Hilarious huh?! It's only going to be the top set for 4-6 months while they make room for the bottom braces. I've included some pics, if you don't like looking at teeth, walk away...Bubby couldn't look at them, they freaked him out!

While I was a bit wary about posting the pictures as I feel it makes me so vulnerable to expose my flaws, I figured, why not? This will be the last time you see 'these' teeth!

When I met with the dentist today he said the wear on the bottom front teeth is so bad if nothing was done they may need crowns, I sure hope we caught it in time as they are already sensitive from time to time!

This will be a 21-24 month journey, the kids are excited and we've been eating all my 'lasts' for the next 2 years: popcorn (especially movie theater popcorn, yummy!), corn nuts, and pretty much anything hard....that's gonna be weird! And I can't chew gum...I don't know how I'll make it 2 years without that?! Nothing like a little adventure to spice things up right? LOL!

My first and I daresay only mugshot, LOL!! All I'm missing is a cardboard sign with a number, LOL!!
Me before braces, it's a bit fuzzy as it's the Ortho's photos I had to scan in
My skull! Boo & Bea got a kick out of this one
Another x-ray view
The ugly....Bubby couldn't look at these, they freaked him out, LOL! I will say that taking these pics was a bit uncomfortable...not only personally awkward but physically as well. They shoved a big ole mirror in my tiny ole mouth and took the pictures while I pulled my gums away with a medieval looking device, LOL! Can you see why my bottom teeth are worn down? They rub against the top ones EVERYTIME I open and close my mouth, that's a LOT of wear on these teeth, probably 15+ years worth!

Anyways this is the last time you'll be seeing these suckers outta place, here's to a new smile headed my way!
